Five Players Leaving UVA Football Team

Posted: Updated:

The start of the UVA football season is a little more that two months away, and new Virginia head coach Mike London has some more work to do as he heads into his first season.

The Cavalier website is reporting five players have decided to leave the team, including former Orange County quarterback Quintin Hunter.

Hunter played in nine games for the 'Hoos last season, and worked as a wide out and QB, but told coach London his heart was no longer into playing football.

Wide receiver Javaris Brown and defensive end Tory Allen-Ford will both transfer to new schools.

Offensive lineman Lamar Milstead has withdrawn for personal reasons, while cornerback Javanti Sparrow is hoping to re-enroll at UVA in 2011.
