About 100 people crowded into the parking lot outside of Congressman Tom Perriello's office Tuesday morning.
About half of the protesters are opposed to the health reform plan approved by the House of Representatives.
They came to let the congressman know how disappointed they are with his vote.
On the other side of the parking lot Perriello supporters thanked him for his vote.
"We want Tom to know that we appreciate the courage that he showed on Saturday night in spite of a lot of vocal opposition from the other side. We're here to support him and tell him we've got your back," says reform supporter Lloyd Snook.
"We're opposed to this healthcare because we think we ought to have real, meaningful reform. Things like tort reform, being able to buy across state lines. But the liberals won't let us do that," says State director of Americans for Prosperity Ben Marchi.
Americans for Prosperity organized the anti-reform protest.
