A female prison guard has admitted helping traffic drugs at Augusta Correctional Center.
Twenty-six-year-old April Hogsett pleaded guilty Monday morning to drug and bribery charges. Prosecutors say Hogsett would accept marijuana from a supplier, and then deliver it to three different inmates at the prison near Craigsville.
An Augusta county judge allowed her stay on bond until her sentencing hearing in January. She faces up to 20 years behind bars.
