
A former Augusta County corrections officer accused of delivering drugs to an inmate has been charged with bribery.
The News Virginian in Waynesboro reports that April M. Hogsett was charged Tuesday with bribery of a public official. Details of the new charge weren't immediately available.
An Augusta County grand jury indicted the 26-year-old Staunton woman last month on the drug charge.
Hogsett formerly was a corrections officer at the Augusta County Correctional Center.
