War Birds Come To Shenandoah

Posted: Updated:

Three icons of America's proud military flying history are on the ground in Augusta County.

The Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport is hosting an annual fly-in and display of three World War Two aircraft.

Visitors can climb inside a B-24 Liberator or B-17 Flying Fortress, and also get an up-close look at a P-51 Mustang.

The planes will be at the Weyers Cave Airport until Wednesday.
