A sport-utility vehicle crashed right through the front door of a house near Waynesboro. The crash happened just before 4:00 p.m. Friday.
Virginia State Police say they believe the Ford Explorer went right through a stop sign, bounded over a stone wall, and into the house on Lyndhurst Road. No one was home at the time.
Crews had to stabilize the structure before working to remove the driver of the SUV. The driver has been identified as 54-year-old Clayton Coffey of Lyndhurst. There is no word on his condition.
