The UVA football team is the only team in the six BCS confereces without a win this season.
During his nine seasons at Virginia, Coach Al Groh has had a lot of success when having an extra week to prepare, posting a record of 9-4 after a bye week.
That's good news for the Cavaliers, as they travel to face North Carloina Saturday after an open date last weekend.
The Tar Heels have a record of 3-1, but that one loss was last week to Georgia Tech, where Carolina played its worst game of the season.
The Heels could muster only 17 rushing yards, quarterback T.J. Yates threw 2 intercepitons, and Carolina was dominated in time of possession in a 24-7 loss.
The result means UNC won't take Virginia lightly, despite the Cavs 0-3 record.
Tar Heels head coach Butch Davis says, "I think they're a very dangerous football team. I think if you take a look, and this is one of the things we try to do with our players, is look at the film. Don't read the newspapers. Don't listen to talk radio. Look at the film. And the film says this is a talented, good football team. Early in the game against southern miss, they had a pretty comfortable lead, but they made some mistakes. We gotta focus more on ourselves. We gotta find out how we can do better this week."
Kickoff is at noon Saturday in Chapel Hill.
