NBC29Driver Identified in ATV Accident

The Fluvanna County Sheriff's Office has released the name of the person who died in an ATV accident Friday evening.
Forty-two-year old Joseph Vincent Giebel of County Lane in Troy, Virginia was driving a Gator ATV when a rifle in the vehicle discharged. The bullet struck Giebel in the head. The ATV then crashed into a tree, sending he and his passenger out of the vehicle. The passenger was treated for a broken arm at UVA Medical Center.
The Fluvanna County Sheriff's Office is continuing to investigate.
