NBC29VA GOP Not Suing Kaine Over Records

Virginia republicans have decided not to sue Governor Tim Kaine for access to his travel records. The Virginia GOP says a court battle would take up too many state resources.
Republicans wanted access to Kaine’s full schedule and travel records under Virginia’s open records laws. Party leaders said taxpayers deserve to know where the governor is and what he's up to.
Kaine declined to provide that information late last week, citing security and privacy concerns.
