NBC29Albemarle County Train Accident

The man who police say tried to make a left hand turn onto railroad tracks in southern Albemarle County this morning is facing drunk driving charges and will need a new car.
His BMW got stuck on the track and was slammed into about 4:30 this morning when a northbound train came rolling through. The driver had gotten out of the car by then and was not hurt.
The accident happened just off of Route 29 near Covesville.
