We have a correction to report to you. On Monday, we reported that Terrence Martin, the owner of the Outback Lodge in Charlottesville, had been arrested ten times for violating the meals tax ordinance.
He has actually been issued five summonses, technically arrests, for not paying meals tax since July of 2007. The most recent one was this past Sunday.
Martin was never taken into custody and we are told he has now paid up. We apologize for the mistake.
