
Charlottesville planners handed out high honors Tuesday night. In all, planners gave out eight awards. The award for ‘Outstanding Neighborhood Effort’ went to Friends of McGuffey Park. The ‘Neighborhood of the Year’ is Fry's Spring. The Habitat for Humanity Builders' Blitz nabbed the ‘Outstanding Plan of Development’ award. ‘Citizen Planner of the Year’ went to Karen Dougald for keeping the university circle area organized.
