A Lake Monticello man already arrested for allegedly running an international online marijuana ring now faces new drug charges.
David Allen Haney, 27, was arrested Thursday after police found seven pounds of high-grade marijuana inside his house. Police say Haney was selling the pot on the internet.
Haney now faces additional felony drug charges after Fluvanna County sheriff’s deputies and the Virginia State Police found more than 1,000 ecstasy pills in a Palmyra home Saturday. The pills have an estimated street value of $30,000, according to police.
Haney is being held in the Central Virginia Regional Jail. His first court appearance is set for January 12.
