Tracy Clemons

Tracy Clemons joined the NBC29 team in June 2008 as a general assignment reporter. He comes to us by way of Chesapeake, Virginia.

Tracy graduated from the University of Virginia in 2007 with a degree in Government and African-American Studies. He went on to get his Masters in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Maryland's Philip Merrill College of Journalism.

Tracy spent the spring of 2008 reporting in the Washington D.C. area for Maryland Newsline. With Maryland Newsline he covered the Pope's visit to Washington D.C., Lead Paint Poisoning in Baltimore, and the Maryland General Assembly in Annapolis.

While at UVa, Tracy interned at NBC29. He was a member of the Cavalier Marching Band and the director of Black Voices Gospel Choir. Tracy is also a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

Tracy is excited to be back in Charlottesville, his second home. And he is excited to serve everyone in Central Virginia. Email him with ANY story ideas you have.
