NBC29Stove Fire Ignites Pantops Restaurant

Eyewitnesses called NBC29 late Wednesday afternoon about a fire at the foot of Pantops Mountain. They say flames were rolling out of the back of a restaurant in the Food Lion shopping center.
The fire, inside the kitchen of the Shang Hai Restaurant, started just before 4 p.m. Everyone in the restaurant made it out safely.
Fire officials say the flames started in one of the restaurant's stoves and spread up to the roof.
