Barack Obama to Visit Charlottesville

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama is coming to Charlottesville today for a rally at the Charlottesville Pavilion. Obama will lead his “Countdown to Change” tour to the pavilion at 7 p.m.

Tickets for the event range from $15 to $100. Security is expected to be in full-force, so people should arrive early.

The doors open at 6 p.m. Bags, banners and signs will be prohibited at the event. Tune into NBC29 for live reports from the Downtown Mall, starting at 5 p.m.
