The three UVA football players who were suspended from the team Tuesday, were suspended because they were arrested.
The players were involved in an altercation on the JMU campus on January 30th that sent two men to the hospital for their injuries.
Ausar Walcott, Mike Price, and Devin Wallace have all been charged with three counts of misdemeanor assault or battery, and a felony count of entering a house to commit assault or battery.
There reportedly was a verbal altercation that took place outside an apartment complex among several people prior to the assault.
The three players have been suspended from all UVA football activities.
