Culpeper police, Culpeper County Sheriff's deputies, agents from the Blue Ridge Narcotics and Gang Task Force Wednesday afternoon and evening arrested seven of 12 people indicted on drug charges by a Culpeper County Grand Jury Monday, They also arrested one person on a warrant.

The drug investigation spanned three months and was conducted by the Street Crimes Unit comprised of town police and county sheriff's deputies.

Arrested on the indictments were:

  • Travis Dyer, 20 of the 16000 block of Brandy Road, possession of cocaine.
  • Nicole D. Washington, 25, of the 700 block of North Main Street, distribution of cocaine. During her arrest, officers noticed items in plain view that tested positive for cocaine. She was also charged with a possession of cocaine.
  • Eric Butler, 33, of the 19000 block of Allens Lane, distribution of cocaine.
  • Van Stringfellow Jr., 29, of the 800 block of Willis Lane, distribution of marijuana.
  • Van Stringfellow Sr., 49, of the 800 block of Willis Lane, possession of cocaine.
  • Jahmar Green, 26, who was already incarcerated in Rappahannock Regional Jail, two counts of cocaine distribution.
  • Phillip Mills, 26, of the 8100 block of Crestview Place, possession of heroin.

Police also arrested Juan Sanchez, 24 of the 800 block of North East St. Extended, with possession of marijuana on a warrant.

The following individuals are still wanted by authorities on indictments handed down Monday:

  • Randall Morehead, 19, white male, of the 18000 block of Lee Highway, Amissville, Va., possession of cocaine.
  • Joanne D. Hall, 28, white female, of the 700 Colonels Court, possession of a controlled substance.
  • Michael J Bailey, 26, white male, of the 200 block of East Spencer Street, possession of heroin.
  • Alice M. Canard, 25, white female, of the 7214 Woodward Lane, distribution of cocaine.
  • Amanda D. Byzek, 28, white female, of the 400 block of Sperryville Pike, two counts of distribution of cocaine
  • Dominic A. Robinson, 30, of the 200 Duke Street, distribution of cocaine.

The following individuals have arrest warrants outstanding:

  • Robert C. Hickey, 23, white male, of the 1300 Old Orange Road, wanted for possession of marijuana.
  • John W., Duckworth, 48, black male, of the 11000 block of Frank Road, Rapidan, Va., for possession of cocaine.
  • Crystal Payton, 20, white female, of the 15000 of Kerby Drive, Orange, Va., for possession of marijuana.

"The thorough investigation and good arrest plan showed the great cooperation among agencies to help ferret out drug dealing in our community," said Capt. Ricky Pinksaw.
