Now that they have their diplomas, University of Virginia graduates are packing up their apartments for good.
But there is not always room for everything, and that is where Sofa Shuffle comes into play. The end of the year event encourages graduates to donate unwanted furniture. All of the donations go to the Salvation Army and Habitat Store.
The Sofa Shuffle compliments Chuck it For Charity and combined, the two programs have donated over 70 tons of household goods to community organizations.
