The white dog-house is coated with No-Burn.
A group of central Virginia fire marshals gathered in Charlottesville Wednesday to test a popular fire safety product.
No-Burn is a spray-on coating that helps prevent flames from spreading.
"It stops the fire from burning in the first place," said No-Burn Director of Business Development Ron Crawford. "And even if you have some degree of ignition, it dramatically reduces the spread of flame to allow the occupants of the structure to get out and firefighters to come in and do their job."
No-Burn creates sprays that protect everything from fabric to Christmas trees. Several structures in Charlottesville have already been treated with the product.
