CTS Rider Numbers Not Slowed By Storms - NBC29 WVIR Charlottesville, VA News, Sports and Weather

Charlottesville has been hit with two major storms since December, but the snow does not seem to be impacting the number of riders using the Charlottesville Transit Service.

CTS is reporting that they saw the same number of bus riders in December and January as in the previous year. The service gave about 315,000 rides during December and January alone.

Those numbers are somewhat lower than regular monthly totals because most University of Virginia students are out of town on break during those months.
