
Charlottesville ranks 10th in Virginia on a list of the state's riskiest places for pedestrians. At the top of the list are Danville and Richmond.
They're followed by Roanoke, northern Virginia, and Bristol.
These rankings were based on an index that divides pedestrian fatality rates by the percentage of people who walk to work.
