BUENA VISTA, Va. (AP) - A Lexington man faces charges in the shooting death of a teenage hunter in Buena Vista in what police are calling an accident.
Buena Vista police say Victor Clark was shot and killed on Saturday. The 15-year-old was hunting with Codee Clark, of Lexington.
Police did not have an age for Codee Clark, nor did they indicate whether the two are related.
Codee Clark has been charged with involuntary manslaughter and recklessly handling a firearm.
He was released from the Rockbridge Regional Jail Sunday after posting a $1,000 bond. A telephone listing for Clark in Lexington could be immediately found Sunday.
