Hammers and nails in hand, women in central Virginia got a chance to learn home construction skills while helping a program that builds homes for others.
The 'Women with Nails' event featured tool boxes built and designed by female volunteers with Habitat for Humanity's Women Build program.
Ladies took part in presentations from how to install a dimmer on house lights to how to fix a leaky faucet. It was all in the name of helping women feel comfortable with fixer-up techniques.
