NBC's Chris Matthews visited Charlottesville on Monday to discuss the first 100 days of the Barack Obama White House.
Speaking at UVA's Miller Center of Public Affairs, Matthews said Obama's biggest achievement is convincing people that America is moving in the right direction.
Matthews, however, said he doesn't agree with every decision that's been made, "The mess up with regard to taxes, people's taxes, I think there's been too much scrutiny. I think there was one case where [Tom] Daschle, where he did something wrong, but I think the others, they were just looking for trouble."
Moving forward, Matthews says obama's biggest challenges will be Pakistan and Afghanistan.
