High pressure will remain offshore through Thursday. A southerly flow will usher in warm and humid conditions during this time. The warm and humid air will lead to some showers and thunderstorms, especially during the afternoon and evening hours each day. A cold front will pass through the area Thursday night into Friday and much cooler conditions are expected behind this boundary for Memorial day weekend.

Today/Wednesday: Sun and clouds, warm and humid, few  PM storms, highs 83-88. Thursday: Mostly cloudy, showers and storms, highs 81-85. Friday: Partly sunny, highs 68-74. Saturday: Mostly sunny, less humid, highs 71-76.
